Our core stocks - lamb, beef, fish, duck and chicken - come from the Borough Broth Company, a small business founded by Ros in 2015. Having searched fruitlessly high and low for a producer of good quality, slow-cooked, organic bone broth, Ros decided to create her own. Her stocks maintain the quality and depth of flavour of homemade, whilst never compromising on the provenance of organic, premium quality ingredients.
Her entire range is created from a place of understanding and respect for the importance of raw ingredients. The beef broth is made using grass-fed organic British bones and is slow cooked for 24-hours. In 2017 their chicken bone broth, made using organic bones sourced from three organic farms in the south-west, was awarded two stars at Great Taste Awards by the Guild of Fine Food and was Highly Commended by Delicious magazine's produce awards. Their 24 hour, slow-cooked lamb broth is made using 100% organic, grass-fed lamb bones, carefully sourced from a single organic British farm based in Somerset and is densely packed with 40% bones.
